Hi, I broke 3 connectors for the ribbon cables when replacing the upper screen. Do you perhaps have replacements of the connectors if I give you a picture of the ones I need? This is for a Nintendo 3DS XL, the newest version. thank you.Gary

gary, this forum is not staffed by ifixit. All you have here are some volunteers that offer their assistance. To find out what ifixit sells, you want to contact them on here. Right now it does not look like there are any part for your game console. You can always add a couple of images to your question and see if somebody can help you further. Also, consider contacting this user. He is the guru of game consoles.

Hi Gary,
Sorry, Im probably a little late to this party.
I had snapped off the little plastic tab that holds in the keyboard ribbon cable on a laptop, and found an easy way to fix it.
The same problem can occur on may different devices, such as CD players, laptop keyboard connectors, camera ribbon cable connectors, etc.
If you break off this little tab, the ribbon cable is not held in at all, and just falls out of the connector.
On the off chance that you have the same type of problem, check out my YouTube video I had posted last year. Not sure what is wrong with your connector. If it is the same problem, you can easily fix it in a few minutes.
