How to install Adhesive

I am about to repair the front display on a LG G2 and it mentioned adhesive. How is this to be installed? I need your help IFIXIT and community because I have never performed this repair task before. I have only worked on IPhones.

Hire a professional to do it. LOL! I tried to fix the LG G2 by the instructions on here and was unable to do so. I found the instructions to be lacking and I was unable to complete the process. Plus a component came off the board. However it did not effect the operation of the phone. I took it to a professional and he also told me my new front display was bad. So all is well. I think I will stay with brands I know for now.
