I think my LCD is damaged. how much will it cost?

i dropped my phone once on hard wooden floor, and after that the corner where it's been dropped started to get blue, then everything went black. everything else worked, i could still listen to music, i could still take pictures but just that you can't see the screen. So i went to a phone reparing place yesterday, and they said it would cost me about 200$ if i fix it at their place. Now, is this true? or are they just trying to rip me off?

I would say their quote is a little pricey. To me they want maybe $25 to $50 to much. A nice display may be close to $100 if it is already in a frame. So them asking another $100 for labor, in my opinion is a bit of a rip off. Especially if the display is the only part they are replacing. Many users on this site do repairs also, so you could look through user profiles on the ifixit site to maybe find someone cheaper to do the repair.
