Camera not working on iPad mini

Just recently replaced lcd and touch screen digitiser and gone to use the camera feature and the screen is black also it won't let me use the front camera and the button to which you use to take the picture does not work but all other features work fine

Options

One of the cameras was either unplugged or damaged during the previous repair. Check the cable connectors on both cameras. If one camera is malfunctioning it does affect the other.
