nancylc27, try this:
With the introduction of the WF210 and WF220 models, the lock mechanism has changed. It still has a manual release however, there is some disassembly required to reach the lock release lever.
To release the new door lock, follow these steps:
1. Remove the two screws from the rear of the top cover and remove the cover.
2.Remove the four screws from the control. You can either disconnect the control panel, or carefully place it on top of the unit.
3. Remove the four screws from the front panel.
4. Once the front panel is loose, carefully lean it forward. At this point, the door switch is exposed. You now can pop its plastic cover off.
5. Push down on the white knob that was under the cover. This will release the door lock and you will be able to open the door. It is very important to replace the plastic cover when you are done.

Watch out for water coming out of your washer when you do this. You may want to have a bucket and plenty of towels with it. After that determine why you do not have any power. Check systematically and start with your plug and fuses. Let us know what you find.

Sometimes when the total washing cycle (wash rinse and spin) completes and all of the lights are out, the door remains locked. I have pressed the start button then pressed spin and there is a click and the door unlocks. If I do not open the door before I turn the power off, there is another click and the door locks again. I open the door then I turn the power off. Note this problem occurred in 2 out of three times washing loads. I do not know why it happens, I only know the door unlocked the two tined I did it.

Mine is doing the same thing. It just started doing it. The cycle finishes and unlocks. But when the power turns off it locks again. I have to turn the power back on for it to unlock. Just started doing it this week.
Anyone know how to fix the problem I posted?
