Front and back camera plus flash are not working

Hello there,

I recently got my iPhone 6 repaired from some idiot who I think is trying to take more and more money off me. He put a new lcd on my screen when the old lcd stopped working.

Basically he handed it back. Everything works on the phone, except for the front and back camera. Also flash isnt working. He says the lcd replacement ahould only affect the front camera and not the back. So why did the back camera work before and not now?

The flash also doesnt work. I've taken the phone back and now need advice. Can this be fixed, if so how?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

First, I would try to make a FaceTime call and see if the back camera works. It's very possible he damaged the front facing camera when doing the screen repair and that can sometimes affect the rear camera from opening in the Camera app. So making a FaceTime call will allow you to check both cameras.

If neither camera opens during the FaceTime call he could of damaged the front facing during the screen repair and/or possibly unplugged the rear camera while unplugging the screen cables. They are located very close to each other.
