Black screen on reboot after scan with malwarebytes

My grandpas laptop was infected with a $@$* ton of trojans. Kept opening apps and webpages by itself. Downloaded and scanned with malwarebytes in normal boot. Found 229 potential threats so I removed them all. It asked to reboot a few minutes later and he did so. We logged back in after reboot and bam, black screen with cursor. Rebooted again and had Windows recovery screen. Ignored it and booted normally. Same thing happened

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

start task manager

select file > New task
