Broken screen, need repair help in NYC

Does anybody know of a reputable, professional repair service company in NYC with iPad experience?

My Wifi-only device took a nasty spill this weekend and the screen is shattered. The multi-touch and multimedia functions still work properly (even above the broken glass).

I welcome any referrals / advice you may have. Thanks in advance.

Nobody's really going to have much iPad experience so you might as well do it yourself. Here's how to do it: iPad Wi-Fi Display Frame Replacement

Here's the part: iPad Front Panel Digitizer Assembly

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately I do not know of any professional repair service companies in NYC, but you are certainly able to do the repair yourself at home, using this guide and the parts listed in that guide (and you'll probably save yourself some money too.)

However, if you need it done by someone else, then these guys say that they do iPad repairs, but I've never used their services: http://ifixny.com/ipad_repair_wifi_3g_ap...

Happy fixing! :)

If you search around town, there are usually a bunch of cell-phone repair shops. You are not the first one to break their I-Pad. This actually occurs all the time. I hope that you can find a place to fix it soon. http://repairmyiphonenyc.com/devices-2/i...
