Replacing a cracked screen

My screen is cracked very badly (like it was run over by a car, with no case). There is no display and I doubt the touch screen is doing anything.

Amazingly, it seems the phone is still running because I hear notifications and the alarm went off this morning.

Is it possible to do a full replacement of the screen and glass? And would this even be cost effective vs getting a new phone (or a used one)?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The replacement screen and glass combo can be found for around $75-100 and the new phone cost is at least twice that. Unfortunately IFIXIT has not put together a repair guide but YouTube has lots of videos available. It is fairly easy to replace the LCD and glass together but it gets tricky when you just replace the glass. Good luck!

Do you know where I can find the replacement screen and glass for that price? I looked in the ifixit store, but I only see the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S III Mini, I don't see the S4 Mini...
