Why does my GBA Not Play Games

I put my Pokemon Emerald Game Into my GBA and it doesn't want to play. How do I fix this?

Did you only tried that game? If so trie an other game. If it still won't work use a cotton swap an put some cleaning alcohol on it (no soap or other cleaning products) and gently clean the contacts of the game and the ones on the gameboy ;)
