My Acer Aspire 5736Z-4801 keyboard is not responding

Hi, my trackpad and mouse work fine but the keyboard does not respond. I have used fn + f6 and have removed the battery as per forums but the problem persists, any ideas?

Does a external USB keyboard work? It is possible that this is a keyboard error (you'd have to replace it) or possibly motherboard issue.

Hi oldturkey03, the problem has only just arisen and do not have an external keyboard but will try this on Monday when back at work! Thanks very much for your reply
