sudden shutdown after playing hd games

When using my hp elitebook 8540w with normal programs and regular usage, it does not turn off suddenly, but after 10 to 15 min of playing games or using program that need high graphic processing.

So what could be causing this issue? Is that hardware or softwear?

What i did:

1. I reinstall the windows couple of time, also upgrade to latest drivers for nvidia.

2. Provide good cooling system to prevent heating

None of these helped me, it still shutdown suddenly

Any idea for fixing that?

Download HWINFO and monitor the core temps, if you can then turn up the fan speed, I can on my 8540p, the problem that i've got is that its overheating because of bad CPU+GPU cooling :/
