ipad 4 is not charging

hi, i bought faulty ipad 4 gsm, it was not turning on and was not charging, so i heated its POWER MANAGEMENT ic and it starts up, but now problem is that it is not charging, i have replaced its charging port also, but it doesn't worked, while having closer look i observed that when it is connected its voltage regulator ic( Fairchild BCHAH/FDMC) is getting so hot and charger also gets hot.

plz see the image, the ic marked in black is getting hot.

i am thinking of changing pm ic, will it work???

and can any one tell me location of u2 ic on logic board???

Options

U2 chip is the square black chip right able the charging connector.

in your case i would replace what ever thats getting hot because thats most likely whats being shorted.
