Puntured iPhone 5s battery, safe to continue removing?
Hello,
I have a water damaged iPhone 5s from tea in a thermal flask in a ladys hand bag..
Upon removing/replacing the battery it is super super stuck from the adhesive and now the sugary tea cocktail to go along with it.
I have ripped the battery open a bit, i noticed this potent glue type of smell and feared maybe it was the battery however it could also just be the adhesive?? Im not sure I haven't removed a 5 or 5s battery before. I notice i have ripped the old one open quiet a bit and Its dead flat. Will anything happen if i continue to rip it off as clearly this is the only way it is now going to come off.
Appreciate any help,
Cheers!
