Why is my disk not turning inside

my ps2 is not working the disk inside inst spinning when it is on and running I got it to work 1 time but then it stopped working after i turned it off and i came back to play it and i didn't work ... plz help me out

Could be a laser issue or the whole disk drive may need to be replaced.
