White screen after putting the Factory mode on in service menu

I have a LG LCD tv, model no. 22LG30R.

Lately I had observed that the overall picture was too dark even after putting it at 100% brightness.

I searched through the forums avs forum link and I found that it might be resolved after putting the TV in factory mode.

I proceeded as guided in the above mentioned forum and pressed the menu button on tv and on the remote simultaneously. I set the factory mode as ON and now I am stuck with a complete white screen. No button from TV or remote is working.

Kindly help.
