Some portion of motherboard is overheating

When the battery was inserted then the portion 2 inches below the f1 fuse was overheated but when i plug in the power then there was short circuit two inches away from the right side of touchpad and smoke came out...

What happened to it ? And what should i do now?

At our labs we hook up an external adjustable PSU and slowly increase the amps whilst monitoring with thermal imaging camera for overheating components. Once found we replace them and repeat the process until the board is repaired. Some of the components can also be tested in-circuit, so would suggest testing all diodes and resistors around the area that gets heated up.

solder whatever component that was heating up off the logic board afterwards, plug the charger it again to see if it still heats up.If it doesn't that mean the component you removed was damaged and needed to be replaced.
