Why is my screen illuminating only at certain angles

Earl Smith, sounds like you are having difficulties with the ribbon cable going to the display. Since you did not tell us what model Aspire you have, you'll have to find a guide from here and open it up. Check the wires going to the display for any break or torn insulation or any other damage. Replace as necessary.
