Black screen of death
Hi, i have a 2013 macbook air which shows black screen on start up(black screen of death) i want to ask if it can be repaired or its useless now.

Alright, the issue of Black Screen of Death is repairable. There are 2 strong possibilities. The first one can be the display issue. Meaning that your MBA display failed. This gonna be an speculation only. You can verify this if you feel the Air still makes some noise of fan's movement inside or seemingly gets warmer.
The second assumption is of logic board graphics failure. In this case as well you can verify that if your MacBook Air gets warmer or you still feel fan making movement internally.
In most cases, logic board failure is expected. If you do not mind, you can ship your MacBook Air to Apple Repair Club's official address where we look into Macs and do diagnostics for free. You can simply google us as Apple Repair Club. That's it. We will complete diagnostics and report to you the estimate. We can fix that for you if you want or any dedicated Apple device repair shop around you can help you understand better.
Do not throw your Mac yet. You can recycle if you did not like the estimate though.

Does the computer boot?
External monitor work?
Any light on the power cable?
Any light on the macbook?
