Impossible repair or not?

Has anyone ever been able to remove the LCD from the digitizer and glass? It appears that these three pieces are fused tougher.

it's possible to replace the single parts - but it's aint easy.

search youtube and you will find a few videos about that topic.

since it's a very complicated proces where most people would kill the front panel - the guides are only intended to show the replacement of the whole display assembly

Taking apart the 2G is no picnic. I was doing it for a friend and he gave me the broken phone and the glass + digitizer. After taking the phone apart and the repair guide ended I realized that if the LCD was to be removed it was not going to be easy. I would not recommend anyone attempt the repair with out the whole assemble including LCD. I will give it an attempt and post my results.
