Why my calculator is not charging?

When I plugged in the charger, it shows greenlight but still low battery even though I charge it overnight

I read on another site that if you unscrew the battery compartment, unwrinkle the cords, it will charge better. I didn't think that would work, but strangely enough, it is charging and actually working. Hope this helps.

Try using the reset button on the back. That fixed it for me!

Reset your calculator: If you turn to the back of your calculator in the mid-left you will see a small button that says reset.

  • Using a pen (pointy) push it and turn on the calculator again.

If this method doesn't work for you then you might have some other problem.

If your graphing calculator isn't charging and it doesn't take 4 AAA batteries then it works on a block battery that you have to unscrew the 2 screws and unplug it for 10 seconds, plug it back in and tighten the 2 screws and charge it and it will function normally.

Your calculator battery may be reduced in lifespan and it could also be your charging port. You can buy charging ports for TIs and other brand calculator online.
