Charging Port is broken and not working
I have a Samsung NP300E5C-A01US . charging port on the computer broken. Do I need to replace the entire motherboard to replace the port?

Jim Gianino , you do not have to replace the motherboard. Remove the mother board using this video as a guide. then unsolder the old port and solder a replacement to the board. The part is around $10 and available at place like ebay.com or Amazon.com ( check for DC jack)as well as many others.

What can you do if while removing the power jack you snap off the end of the motherboard next to the dc power jack. Model is np300e5a
