Replacing MacBook 5.1 motherboard

Can i replace my broken mobo with another from a newer(or older or even same age) a1278 mac (eg:mbp or mb 2009 or 2010),if so, what is the model of the board? Anyway,in my country,this is my only option so please help!thanks

NO they won't fit positively the batteries are totally different for starters , you only get 2.0ghz or 2.4ghz option for swap , you can however upgrade the keyboard with a backlight that's it. The model of the board is 820-2327-A. And I just looked there are sellers that ship international on the Bay for close to under 200 usd.

you'd be better off buying a new one off amazon for $200 USD

logic boards are nearly $500 USD
