Why does power stop as I am using machine in dc19?

Every now and then I lose power in the vacuum. It happens as I am vacuuming but nothing seems jammed it just stops running. What are some solutions or troubleshooting ideas.

Hey mate. It sounds like your DC19's motor is getting too hot, causing the thermal cut-off in the motor to turn it off. To me, the excessive heat could be caused by a few things. Check all of the filters as these can impede air flow to the motor. If all filters are clean, you'll have to open up your DC19. Check to see if there is anything jammed/impeding air flow.
