No sound device showing, speakers/mic/headphones not working. Help?

I've tried fresh installs, PRAM resets, etc. no luck. Is the sound device on board the logic board in this model? I was told to look for corrosion, but have found none on my breakdown. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.
