How do I what company my phone is with?

My Dad bout me an iPhone 6 off ebay and it was supposably through Sprint. But when I tried to activate my phone they said it didn't register? So, how can I check the esn?

Options

You can do a carrier check using the imei.

Personally I would do a carrier and checkmend.

Can be purchased on eBay.
