Joeb, never seen a D0135, only a P0135 which means "Oxygen O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 1)" To repair that I would start by replacing the oxygen sensor as well as checking the wiring harness to make sure it is not damaged.

I had quite an issue with my 1998 Honda Civic HX, told me the oxygen sensor was lazy, even for a new sensor. Turned out that the ECM needed more recent firmware, but an update was not possible. Ended up getting a replacement ECM which cured the problem.
