What is wrong with the vibration function?

Yeah my dualshock 3 is crazy, sometimes the vibration decides to work, and then it just wants to go like on a journey and not work... Sometimes I'm playing and it just appears, and then stops... Any guess?

Options

It sounds like there might be a short in the wiring. Have you ever hit your controller or thrown it. Try taking the back off and taking a look at the wiring for the vibrator. You may even have to replace the vibrator.

If the motors are fine. You might just want to get a new motherboard.

Or get a new controller.
