Dropped S3 and the screen is now progressively turning purple

So i dropped my galaxy s3 (gt i9300) on a hard surface screen down, i picked it up and nothing was wrong, no cracks or scratches the screen still worked and everything seemed fine i was relieved. Then a few hours later there was a slight purple tint in one corner of the screen!

The next morning it was larger area of purple! My stepdad advised me to take the battery out and i did, when i put it back in almost the whole screen is now purple???? i can barely see BUT THE TOUCH SCREEN PART STILL WORKS i can manage to unlock my phone and scroll thorugh pages but i cant really read anything.

Wondering whats wrong? how to stop it from getting more purple/blackish and how could i get it fixed??????

PLEASE HELP

The exact same happend to my s6, worked fine until around 1 hour later, a few purple dots at the top right of the screen. the next day about 80% of the screen was purple, now the screen is so dark purple you cant see it.
