automatically throttles down while cutting grass

Craftsman DGS 6500 Lawn tractor has a 26 hp kohler engine in it and when I am mowing it just idles down to half or less than half idle while mowing, cleaned carb, acts like some kind of switch or something malfuctioning, will go from full idle to half idle numerous times or just stay at half idle, it has me boggled
