camera and volume button not working after reassembly

Hi there,

I successfully replaced the LCD on my HTC M7 following the guide. Everything worked until my LCD stopped working probably cause it was a bad quality aftermarket product. I bought a new LCD assembly and replaced it again.

After installation, everything worked fine except the camera app wouldn't start (I reinstalled the whole ROM, and it still didnt work so I thought it's a hardware issue). So I disassembled the phone again, took out the daughterboard to check if I accidentally ripped something or broke something on it, but it didnt seem so.

I reassembled the whole phone again, but this time not only the camera wouldnt work, but also the volume button didnt react. I tried bootloader mode too, but the volume buttons still didnt work. Any suggestions?

Could it be any of the cables that connect the daughterboard to the motherboard? Ambient light sensor, jack plug, upper loudspeaker all work so Im hoping I dont need to replace the whole daughterboard. Any tips? Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

The camera it self most likely needs to be replaced, electronics are extremely sensitive to static discharge it takes only about 10 volts to fry microchips. humans can not perceive static electricity until it reaches around 1,500 volts.
