My iPhone turned off and shows the battery sign,then the apple sign.

so, my iPhone was in a life proof case and I went to take a picture underwater on Sunday. the case filled up with a little bit of water but then shut off my iPhone completely. I got home to put my phone in rice. I took it out today to see if it turned on and it shows the dead battery sign. I plugged it in, but it showed the battery sign, then the apple symbol, then it does the same thing over and over. but my iPhone is also jail broken, could that be the reason its not fully turning on??

Options

The reason is because of water damage. The battery will need to be replaced and the logic board will need to be properly cleaned. Do it asap. The rice solution is a myth and does not solve water damage.

^^ my phone turned on and nothing got erased or anything. but it'll be on for like 3 minutes then shut off, the turn on again, it keeps doing it.
