Step 7 Remove the two 5.3 mm T6 Torx screws securing etc
i bought the torx from ifixit, but the T6 doesnt fit the screws in this step. Neither do any of the other sizes from the set.
What other torx could this be?

Just so we know which screw can you point out which guide you encountered the issue. Most of the guides follow the same layout is this the screw in question: "two 5.3 mm T6 Torx screws securing the data display cable to the logic board."
