Waste Ink Absorbr Full

I have a Canon Pixma ip6220D. The waste ink absorber is full. How do I replace the waste ink absorber? There is nothing in the manual on how to replace it.

Open the printer like you are going to install new ink cartridges. find locate waste ink absorbents in the black rubber frame. use paper material to soak excess ink that are in the pads. Pull rubber frame from printer. replace the rubber frame in original position and close the printer. For Canon Printer Support Call at Toll Free number 1-800-243-1403
