faint lines on MacBook Pro screen bottom right corner

I was cleaning my Macbook pro when some water got to the display cable area. It powers on but there are faint gray lines on the bottom right corner. I checked the inside, and there was some black on the metal for the display connected and its port. Does anyone know if the logic board, display, or display cable is the issue and how much it would cost to fix?
