LVDS cable or something else?

Hy guys!

I have an annoying stripe on the right side of my screen, as you can see in the picture below. The peculiar thing is that if I move the screen it disappears for a second, and if I plug it into an external screen, there is no stripe.

I've read here that could be the LVDS cable, but how do I know if the cable is broken or just pinched or something like that?

Yes, Louis, I was hoping it was the cheap repairing, yes, but 50$ is not excessive.

Sadly, your internal display is damaged. What happens is the lid gets a bang or something heavy presses on it damaging the fragile connections to the glass.

Time for a new display assembly ;-{
