audio ic / data lost

I have iphone 5c which we tryed to reheat audio ic and now phone went in dfu mode and we had to restore and all customers data has got lost because she didnt back it up, we forgot to say to her back your phone up. any way the audio ic still needs repaired . there is sill no sound on the other line when we make call from iphone 5c . any one help

How do you know that it is the audio IC that has failed? how did you diagnose that?
