Why wont my ps3 super slim spin the disk?
I tried to play one of my new games and it won't spin... It trys to but won't. How do I fix this?

Hi!
Could be a lot of things. Maybe the spindle is faulty, or something is blocking it, or laser issues.
In this case, just replace the optical drive completely. Way easier and not that expensive.

The drive isn't getting power due to one or more of the ribbon cables that connects to the drive either being disconnected or too damaged to function. Either way you will have to open the top shell and look inside to see what the issue that is causing your disc drive not to spin.
