The easiest way is with Time Machine:
- Perform a Time Machine backup with old HD in the machine.
- Download the Yosemite Installer from the app store.
- Create a USB install disk from the installer https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372
- Change the drives
- Boot with the USB install disk
- Restore from Time Machine along with the install.
