iPhone got wet, now the touch screen doesnt work...

iPhone got wet.. I got it to work but last week the botton part of the touch screen doesnt work anymore.. what do I do?

PLEASE HELP! Apple want to charge me $199 to replace it

since you didn't wrote anything about cleaning - i guess you only let it dry. that means that parts inside the phone are shorted and that could lead to your problem.

the only thing i can recommend is a good cleaning with isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a soft paintbrush, clean the logicboard and the connectors carefully - but the white/greenish residue has to be removed. let it dry and reassemble it

nevertheless - the touchscreen could be toast. but that call can be made after you cleaned everything.
