Why do the turn signal flash rapidly?

The front turn signals (right and left sides) on my 2006 Chrysler 300C flash normally once or twice, then rapidly and suddenly stop flashing altogether. The rear bulbs blink normally. The bulbs and fuse had been changed. A repair shop even switched out the control lever, but the problem persists. What's causing this and how can I fix it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I struggled with a similar issue on my 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. What solved my problem was replacing the turn signal sockets of both tail lamps Lh/Rh. Apparently, and due to the elements over time (7 years in my case), the ground connection inside the socket breaks down and starts shorting out after current runs through it. Mopar part number for mine is 68030819AA. I bought it for $7.50++

Vernon McKnight, could be ground error as already discussed in a comment or issues with your CCN. That is the computer mounted to the back of your cluster. Let your repair shop know to check it.
