HDMI Port replacement for ps3 super slim

hello , my HDMI port out broken in my ps3 super slim i'm asking if it's the same other HDMI ports like TV cuz i'm gona try replace it and worry it's it's specific part

Serag Zwait, most likely not. There are even two different types of HDMI port used for the super slim. The only way to determine this is by physically looking at the ports and to compare them.

Not sure where you are located but you should be able to obtain a port that will definitely fit with relative ease. Post an image of the port so we can identify it as model A or B

Looks like a type B HDMI take another picture of the top part, just to make sure. Very, very unlikely that the one from your TV fits. If you have a pair of vernier calipers you can measure the pins and compare it with the one you have.

Since the replacement HDMI replacement female units are so inexpensive and yes it could be used in a number of products. If you are planning on returning soldering it back in. I would use a heat gun waving it back and forth over and over until the holes are all revealed and it will either fit in or not. Just use thick aluminum foil and insulate any rubber plastic ect. Also the four largest solider points just support the actual unit. That is the only worry I have since I am doing the same thing as you right now.
