Make sure there are batteries in the camera and they work.

I have this same startup failure. On a clean undamaged P7700 camera in which a fully charged 7.7+voltage battery is loaded has no sign of life. I do not know if the v2.0 upgrade has been loaded. Bough this P7700 on ebay reported to be fully operational. Is there a service approach to this problem???

Seems to be a wide spread issue, there must be some common reason. I hope it’s power board not main at least

I have a coolpix p7700. Been using it for at least 3 years with no problems. 3 months ago I turned if off and since then it has refused to turn back on. Nothing seems to work including replacing the battery. Their is no damage to the camera. To old and expensive to send out for repair. Any suggestions??
