Washer will not spin

Tj Hemlinger, this is a direct drive model. There is no drive belt etc. If the motor coupling would have failed, it would not agitate etc. So if it agitates and the timer continues to function properly etc but does not spin you want to check the lid switch first. Make sure it is working. For that you would need a multimeter. Then there is also the possibility of a slipping clutch. I just replaced one of those a few weeks ago for identical reason.
