Phone is dead, wont charge, black screeen. cannot turn on with button.

It was 3/4 of the way charged. In a cubby hole in my truck. I stopped for the night and went to turn it on. Thinking by now it will be charged. Has been slow to charge. Is a year and a half old. Took it apart. Took out the sim card and battery, wiped everything. Bought a new cord and another cigarette plug charger and tried to charge it in the wall also for several hours. Truck has huge inverter (1200 minimum watts) in it. With two wall outlets. But I used the cigarette plug things, because I cannot get any juice from the outlet things. Semi-truck.

Sarah, this can be caused by some bad charger. I would try taking the battery out and putting it back in, see if that makes a difference. If not, replace the battery with a new one and see if it charges. If it does not, you may have issues with the charge connector or the charging IC. Both of those repairs will require the dismantling of your phone as well as some board level repair.
