Broke airport/wifi cable (ribbon) attachment end, how do I get it out?

When disconnecting the airport cable from the logic board I must've broken it (it was already rusty from a water spill) because the little connector piece is missing from the cable and seems to be stuck on the logic board where it connects. I can't take it out with a plastic spudger because there is no leverage (like the black plastic part of the cable if it were still attached to it). Would it be a bad idea to use a metal tool in an attempt to pry it off?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hey, I have exactly the same problem. While replacing the Airport/Bluetooth card, I broke the airport cable. The little connector piece is still connected to the logic board and I cannot take it off. Is there any solution?
