display screen is white and I get 8 beeps

I have a dell insperion n4110 display screen is white and I get 8 beeps. I tested the display and i get the different colors when its being tested. I also tested with external display monitor and I get a screen with the dell logo and that is it, it does not do anything. I try to go to diagnostic and it powers down, it does not do anything. what could be the problem. I also tried a different mother board and does the same thing, nothing different.

Try to change/ reseat your RAM. You also want to check your hard drive.
