water damage to MacBook air

So I spilt water on my Mac book air model a1466 and it completely turned off. So I flipped it over on the keyboard to let the water drain out. After a week like that I took the bottom off and used rubbing alcohol and cleaned the logic board on both sides and spent around 6 hours cleaning everything thoroughly. I unplugged the battery first and the other chords safely before using the rubbing alcohol. After letting everything dry for a couple more days I turned on the macbook air but nothing. It only turns on if the power chord is connected which shows the green light. Now the backlight does not turn on and the keyboard glows on and off. It looks like it wants to stay lit because it lights up and then tries to turn off but it stays lit. After that the keyboard stays lit as long as the power chord is connected. So the backlight does not come on and the Mac air won't turn on unless the power chord is connected.
