Why won't the volume of my phone change?

No matter what I do the volume of my phone won't change. I've tried pushing the buttons harder and nothing happens. What do I need to do to get the volume working again?

Options

There are a few issues that can cause this problem.

- Button's housing has become dirty or clogged:This is sometimes caused by the buttons being obstructed by debris. You can fix this by cleaning out the housing with compressed air.

- Broken/bad button assemblies:Replace the button assemblies by purchasing a new assembly and replacing it.
