Broke antenna connector off of airport card

Hi

I recently renovated my MBP, and I accidentally snapped one of the airport antenna connectors right off of the board, pin and all. If you need a visual reference, see below.

I super-glued the connector back to the board, and everything seems to be working fine.

Should I buy a new airport card just be safe? Or just leave it since it seems to be working?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Superglue is no substitute for soldering. The difficulty will now be the removal of the connector. It may destroy your solder pads or traces. Have it repaired by someone how can do some micro soldering.

Very true! Superglue only makes things worse!

I won't leave it as is here as you will likely have it sort out causing more damage.

At this point I think you'll need to find someone who can re-solder the connector back down as it looks like you haven't damaged the solder pads. This is a very tricky job!

If you can't find any one then its time to replace the AirPort card.
